The bag I’m remaking

I barely leave my house but when I do, I’m not exaggerating when I say, every time I do, I use this bag and I have sooo many people commenting on it and I truly dont get why
Like it’s cute but, it’s not that cute
But iv been asked so many times if I sell them and I just say no and I take it with a grain of salt
But this lady stopped doing her job as a cashier, gave me her phone number and said she’d pay anything for it, “as long as you can get me it by Christmas, I’d pay whatever you like, seriously I adore it”
I still have trouble taking it seriously, but I’m remaking it anyway
Again if Syx is interested, I’ll give her the yran i used, and the YouTube videos I found and combined to make it, this one was a mishmash of tutorials I liked lol

Right now im mainly just organizing crochet shit since were talking about it lol

Ill send the videos eventually/ if asked because I still have to re-find the Japanese video of the chains I used as handles, and I haven’t tried finding it yet

And its been a few weeks so far
I hate when people ask how long because it depends on my attention span tbh
I could spend a week straight non stop, or I can take a couple hours each day
sometimes I go days without even wanting to look at the project let alone work on it
So I’m terrible at timing things
As well as pricing things
I was gonna sell it to her for $50, but I’m criminally underselling it and my effort.
I’m not charging her for material because I already had it, but I forgot how much time and effort went into making it, and making it with quality, I’m not half-assing the construction part, I want that shit DURABLE

Iv been told so many times that they “like the bag” “I want to buy it” but if I priced it properly, no one would buy it
I’m choosing to make it this time because she stopped doing her job and gave me her number on the back of a receipt and pretty much begged me that she adores it, and she pay what ever is needed including materials
I’m biased and I wouldn’t want to charge someone something I wouldn’t want to pay..
But she buttered me up enough that I’m happy to go above and beyond because she appreciated it so much

Seriously though, I looked at the bag and forgot how much more effort it took compared to things more complicated
I figured it would be easy
Boy did I forget the time it took..

Tbh I still haven’t texted her
I’m too anxious to message her because idk when I’ll be finished
And I’m scared she’ll ask when she thinks it’ll be done, and how much I want for it
I’m thinking of uping it to $65 maybe because it’s more effort than expected
But even than it’s still underpriced

It’s hard to negotiate with the person trying to buy it because ofcourse they want a lower price
